Yarmosky, 39, complemented her look in neutral tones of his own, and the pair’s body language throughout the appearance left little doubt about where things currently stand between them.
The age difference between Holmes and Yarmosky has become something of a talking point since the relationship went public, though it hasn’t appeared to affect their chemistry. Yarmosky is a Brooklyn-based painter known for portraits exploring aging, memory and time, often centered on his own grandparents as subjects.
The two were first linked in July 2026 after attending a screening together in East Hampton, and their romance has picked up steam steadily since then. They made their relationship Instagram official on Yarmosky’s birthday in September, a milestone that came just before the couple started showing up together at high-profile fashion events.
That public debut arrived quickly. Holmes and Yarmosky were spotted holding hands at New York Fashion Week earlier this month, where they attended the Cult Gaia show and sat front row alongside supermodels Iman and Helena Christensen. The Milan appearance marks their first major outing together on European soil, suggesting the relationship has moved well past its early, cautious stages.
Holmes’ dating history has often played out with far more mystery than clarity. Her relationship with Jamie Foxx stretched on for roughly six years but was rarely confirmed publicly, while her romances with chef Emilio Vitolo Jr. and Broadway bassist Bobby Wooten III were shorter and similarly guarded.
Compared to those past relationships, the pace and visibility of her connection with Yarmosky stand out. Sources have indicated the couple is still taking things slowly in other respects, including when it comes to introducing him to her teenage daughter, Suri Cruise, whom Holmes shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise.
Even so, appearing together at back-to-back fashion weeks on two continents suggests a level of comfort that has developed quickly. For an actress who has historically kept her romantic life largely out of the spotlight, the Milan appearance feels like a deliberate step toward normalizing this relationship in public.

Fashion month has a way of turning quiet romances into full-blown public statements, and Holmes and Yarmosky’s coordinated Milan outing did exactly that.
