Priyanka Chopra Makes a Statement in Glamorous Transparent Dress for Variety
Priyanka Chopra is making waves again with a bold new look that shows why she is still one of the world’s most daring fashion icons. For a February cover shoot with Variety, she wore several jaw-dropping gowns that combined high-fashion artistry with raw glamour.
One outfit in particular has captured the most attention: a shimmering gold dress with a see-through design made from thousands of tiny flower-shaped embellishments. The gown featured a plunging halter neckline and high side slits, hugging her frame perfectly as she posed on a set of velvet couches.
Celebrity stylists Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald helped craft the look, pairing it with strappy metallic heels and dangling Bvlgari diamond earrings. Priyanka kept the rest of her accessories minimal so the dress could shine.

Priyanka is also in one of the busiest periods of her career. She is preparing for the release of The Bluff, an action-thriller premiering on Prime Video on February 25. In the film, she plays Ercell “Bloody Mary” Bodden, a former pirate defending her family from the ghosts of her violent past.
The film, which she also produced, stars Karl Urban and Temuera Morrison and showcases a grittier, more physically demanding side of the actress. She also confirmed that a second season of the spy series Citadel is in development.
While she admitted in her Variety interview that she doesn’t know what the future holds for the franchise, she remains committed to playing the top agent Nadia Sinh. Fans of Indian cinema have reason to be excited as well.
Priyanka recently wrapped filming on Varanasi, a time-traveling epic directed by S.S. Rajamouli, co-starring Mahesh Babu. This project marks her significant return to Hindi and Telugu films after more than a decade.
Beyond acting, Priyanka continues to influence globally. She recently gave a keynote speech at the Harvard India Conference and celebrated the success of her production, Anuja, which received critical acclaim during the 2025 awards season.
