Rob Schneider, 62, Faces Heartbreak as 37-Year-Old Wife Files for Divorce After 14 Years
After nearly 15 years together, Rob Schneider and his wife Patricia Azarcoya Schneider are officially ending their marriage. Court documents obtained in January show that Patricia, a 37-year-old Mexican actress and producer, filed for divorce on December 8 in Maricopa County, Arizona.
The filing cites the marriage as irretrievably broken with no possibility of reconciliation, according to the records obtained by multiple news outlets. The couple, who tied the knot in Beverly Hills in 2011, are reportedly working on an amicable agreement regarding custody and child support for their two daughters, 13-year-old Miranda Scarlett and 9-year-old Madeline Robbie.
This is the third divorce for 62-year-old Schneider, known for hits like “Deuce Bigalow.” He was previously married to London King and Helena Schneider. Over the years, Schneider often praised Patricia publicly. In 2023, he posted on social media, thanking her for making me a better person.
Family tensions have been in the spotlight in recent years, particularly regarding Schneider’s eldest daughter, singer Elle King. In 2024, King spoke out about her childhood, calling her father “absent” and revealing he sent her to “fat camp.” Schneider issued a public apology on Tucker Carlson’s show, but King dismissed it, saying an apology on Tucker Carlson is like a double negative… means nothing. She clarified she was speaking about my childhood and about my truth, not attacking him personally.
Despite the personal turmoil, Schneider is keeping busy professionally. He is currently on his “Rescue Husband” stand-up tour, with stops in cities including New York and Cleveland. On the film side, he recently starred in “Happy Gilmore 2” with Adam Sandler.
Schneider has also been promoting his book, “You Can Do It! Speak Your Mind, America,” where he shares his views on free speech and modern culture. His daughters, Miranda and Madeline, who both appeared in his 2022 film “Daddy Daughter Trip,” remain a central focus of his public life.
Patricia played a key role in Schneider’s creative projects as well. She co-wrote “Daddy Daughter Trip” and produced the Netflix series “Real Rob.” With the divorce proceedings finalized under a sealed consent decree, the couple seems intent on handling the split privately, protecting details of their finances and custody arrangements from the public eye.
The end of this long marriage marks a major shift for both Schneider and Patricia, closing a chapter that mixed family life with professional collaboration.
