Rotten Tomatoes Names ‘Agatha All Along’ as September’s Most Anticipated TV Show
Rotten Tomatoes is a leading review site trusted by many internet users for its ratings and reviews. Besides offering critiques, it serves as a source of news and trends, helping people decide what to watch.
The site frequently publishes various lists based on different criteria, and this report will highlight one such list: the most anticipated series for this month, according to Rotten Tomatoes.
Our focus will be on Marvel’s Agatha All Along, but we’ll also reveal the other four shows that are generating buzz, as identified by Rotten Tomatoes, one of the most popular review sites online.
Agatha All Along is set to premiere on Disney+ on September 18, 2024, with the first two episodes. The remaining seven episodes will be released weekly, with the series concluding on November 6. Kathryn Hahn will reprise her role as Agatha Harkness from WandaVision, and fans can expect to see both familiar and new MCU characters. According to Rotten Tomatoes, this show is the most anticipated series of September:
Whether or not superhero fatigue — or, more specifically, Marvel fatigue — is a real thing, the latest from the House of Mouse blew all the competition out of the water to secure 30% of all votes and nab the top spot this month. Kathryn Hahn reprises her WandaVision role as Agatha Harkness in the miniseries Agatha All Along, which sees the witch escape from Westview and form a new coven. The first two episodes premiere on September 18, and they’ll be followed by new episodes every Wednesday.

According to Rotten Tomatoes, there’s a strong demand for more of Agatha Harkness, suggesting Marvel might have another hit on its hands. Here’s a look at the other highly anticipated series for September:
The second title on the list is Slow Horses, with its fourth season debuting on September 4, 2025. Rotten Tomatoes notes, “Slow Horses has been a critically acclaimed sleeper hit for Apple TV+ since its 2022 premiere, so it’s no surprise it ranks high on this list.”
In third place is Tulsa King Season 2, which premieres on September 15. As Rotten Tomatoes points out, “Sylvester Stallone continues to draw an audience at 78, leading this Paramount+ series as a Mafia lieutenant setting up a criminal operation in Tulsa, OK.”
Fourth is the third season of From, set to premiere on September 22, 2024. Rotten Tomatoes describes it as, “a series with niche appeal that might be perfect for those seeking something different.”
Finally, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon—subtitled The Book of Carol—comes in fifth. With its second season premiering on September 29, 2025, Rotten Tomatoes highlights that “the show promises to deliver what fans have been waiting for, garnering enough votes to make it into our top five this month.”
