‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is, for a good number of reasons, one of the most anticipated MCU projects at this moment and probably the most anticipated MCU series. We all know that Charlie Cox’s Daredevil debuted in the Netflix original series ‘Daredevil,’ which ran for three seasons and received critical acclaim, with many still considering it one of the best superhero television series ever created. After the series ended and the rights were reverted to Marvel Studios, the fans started an online campaign to bring Cox’s Daredevil back for more.
The last season of Netflix’s ‘Daredevil’ was released in 2018, and fans waited three years for the return of Charlie Cox, who returned as Matt Murdock in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ and Vincent D’Onofrio, who returned as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin in ‘Hawkeye.’
Cox also reprised his role in last year’s ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.’ All fans were pleased when Kevin Feige announced at last year’s San Diego Comic-Con that Cox and D’Onofrio are returning for a brand-new series, ‘Daredevil: Born Again,’ which was recently delayed indefinitely due to filming being on hold due to the ongoing strikes in Hollywood.
Margarita Levieva’s character ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ has been reportedly revealed!
Apart from returning stars, the upcoming Daredevil series will also feature many new faces, and one of them will be played by Margarita Levieva. According to CanWeGetSomeToast, Levieva will star as Heather Glenn, Matt Murdock’s new love interest who works as a couple therapist. But there’s a twist: she’s a therapist to none other than Wilson and Vanessa Fisk, who are attending couple’s therapy because not everything is going well with them since Wilson became mayor.
Created by Marv Wolfman and William Robert Brown, the character of Heather Glenn first appeared in source material in July 1975. She was depicted as Matt Murdock’s former girlfriend. She also briefly dated Tony Stark. The character was killed off in March 1985 when Heather committed suicide.
While Vincent D’Onofrio is reprising the role of Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin, the role of Vanessa will be played by Sandrine Holt, who replaces Ayelet Zurer, who played the character in Netflix’s ‘Daredevil.’
Created by Matt Corman and Chris Ord, ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ will consist of episodes. The series was previously announced to premiere in Spring 2024 but was recently delayed indefinitely.
