Selena Gomez Embraces a Sexy and Flirty Energy in Her Latest Beauty Era
Selena Gomez is feeling confident and comfortable in her own skin these days. During a recent appearance at an Ulta Beauty store in El Segundo, California, the actress and founder of Rare Beauty spoke openly about her current beauty mindset and how it reflects where she is in life right now.
The visit took place on January 31 and was part of a celebration for Rare Beauty’s expansion into Ulta Beauty stores nationwide. This marks the brand’s first major retail expansion since its launch nearly six years ago.
While talking with attendees, Gomez described her current look and energy in simple terms. She said she is enjoying a beauty phase that feels classic, maybe a little sexy. She also shared that she still feels young and is drawn to a flirty, timeless style at this stage. Her comments were reported by outlets covering the Ulta event.
Seeing her products on store shelves was emotional for Gomez. She explained that walking into the Ulta location and spotting Rare Beauty displays made everything feel real. She described the moment as surreal and said visiting the store recently made the journey feel official.
The partnership with Ulta Beauty also includes a charitable effort tied to the launch. According to Rare Beauty and Ulta Beauty representatives, customers are being offered the option to donate at checkout during the month of February. Gomez explained that 50 percent of each donation will go to the Ulta Beauty Charitable Foundation.
The other half of the donated funds will support the Rare Impact Fund, which focuses on improving access to mental health services and education for young people. Gomez thanked the retailer for supporting more than just product sales, noting that giving back has always been central to her brand’s mission.
Outside of her beauty business, Gomez has been staying busy in entertainment. She is currently receiving strong praise for her role in the musical drama Emilia Pérez. The film, which also stars Zoe Saldaña and Karla Sofía Gascón, has been a frequent topic during awards season discussions.
She is also preparing for a major upcoming role as music icon Linda Ronstadt in a biopic that is now in development. Gomez has already spent time with Ronstadt as part of her preparation. The film is being developed with producers James Keach and John Boylan.
On television, Gomez continues her long-running success with Only Murders in the Building. The show recently aired its fifth season on Hulu and introduced new cast members, including Renée Zellweger and Christoph Waltz.
Between business growth, acting projects, and personal milestones, Gomez appears to be entering a confident new phase. Her recent Ulta appearance offered fans a clear look at how comfortable and self-assured she feels in her current beauty era.
