Marvel Studios has quite a few movies currently in development or rumored to be currently in development and one of the most notable ones is certainly ‘Deadpool & Wolverine.’ Based on the comments so far from the people who have seen parts of the movie, it’s going to be an MCU-saver and restore the faith of the fans in the franchise as a whole.

Reportedly, that was the reason why it was selected to be the only movie to release in 2024 following the abysmal results of ‘The Marvels’ and ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,’ movies that barely scraped by when it comes to the box office.

Now according to Daniel Richtman, notable scooper and leaker, the movie’s director Shawn Levy impressed the execs of MCU and we can expect him to get more projects down the line.

Shawn Levy started his career directing television and gained recognition in the 2000s for comedy films like ‘Big Fat Liar’ and ‘Just Married.’ He then directed successful franchises like ‘Cheaper by the Dozen,’ ‘The Pink Panther,’ and ‘Night at the Museum.’ In the early 2010s, Levy directed ‘Date Night’ and ‘Real Steel,’ while also developing TV pilots and producing ‘Last Man Standing.’

He earned an Academy Award nomination for producing ‘Arrival’ in 2016. Since then, Levy has been an executive producer on ‘Stranger Things’ and directed episodes for each season. He also directed the Netflix limited series ‘All the Light We Cannot See.’

Most recently and most notably, he’s collaborated with Ryan Reynolds on ‘Free Guy,’ ‘The Adam Project’ released in 2,022, and the upcoming ‘Deadpool & Wolverine.’ His collaborations with Ryan Reyndols are mostly both box-office and critical success.
