‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Star Zendaya’s Tuxedo Blazer and Bubble Skirt Moment Resurfaces, and Fans Are Still Obsessed With This Louis Vuitton Look
Some fashion moments refuse to fade. Zendaya has built a reputation as one of the most closely watched dressers of her generation, and her Paris Fashion Week appearances tend to linger in the feed long after the show is over. This week, one of her most talked-about looks is circulating again.
The image shows her in a black tuxedo blazer with a sweeping white collar, a red accent at the chest, a voluminous cream bubble skirt, dark tights, black pumps and a bold red lip. It is the kind of look that reads as classic and playful at the same time. Based on the details, it appears to be her Louis Vuitton outfit from the label’s Spring/Summer 2025 show, which she wore outside the Louvre on October 1, 2024.
That detail matters because it is not what she wore to this season’s show. At the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2027 presentation on October 6, 2026, she went in a very different direction. The resurfaced photo is a throwback, which helps explain why the look continues to get so much attention.

Styled by her longtime image architect Law Roach, the outfit was from Louis Vuitton’s Cruise 2025 collection. It fused the power-shouldered tailoring of 1980s suiting with the frothy volume of the early-2000s bubble skirt revival. The tuxedo blazer had an exaggerated white collar that seemed to float above her shoulders, and a red kerchief in the pocket echoed her red lipstick.
The skirt was the real statement. At the time, celebrities including Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner had also embraced the bubble silhouette, but Zendaya’s version was couture-level in its shape. High-contrast styling, with textured tights and her signature pumps, pushed the effect further.
It was also a notable return. Zendaya made what was described as a surprise appearance at that show, ending her fashion week hiatus for the French house, and arrived in head-to-toe Louis Vuitton in keeping with her role as a brand ambassador. The show itself drew a front row that included Alicia Vikander, Ana de Armas, Chloe Grace Moretz, Shay Mitchell, Cate Blanchett and Lisa, many of whom wore black-and-white ensembles.
For the Spring/Summer 2027 show on October 6, Zendaya skipped the minidress tradition that had defined her recent Louis Vuitton appearances. She wore a cropped tank, low-rise straight-leg jeans and a white lace ruffled jacket that critics compared to something fit for Versailles. Marie Claire noted that it was her fourth consecutive Louis Vuitton show, following minidresses at the Spring 2026, Fall 2026 and Cruise 2027 presentations.
The jacket itself was a repeat. She first wore the lacy white design at the Paris premiere of ‘The Odyssey’ this summer, so the show gave it a second life with a denim styling that fashion editors described as French-girl dressing. She also swapped her beloved Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps for custom white Louis Vuitton stilettos, and wore Cartier rings and earrings. Law Roach accompanied her to the show.
Zendaya has been a Louis Vuitton ambassador since 2023, and the brand’s front row has become a regular stop. Her appearance at the Spring/Summer 2026 show a year ago featured a ’60s-inspired metallic mini blazer dress with shearling trim and bow details, worn with metallic silver heels and her Jessica McCormack engagement ring. That show came about a week after she appeared with her fiancé, Tom Holland, at his family’s charity gala in London.
Taken together, her Paris looks tell a story of an actress who treats the front row as a runway of her own. Each season brings a different mood, from sharp tailoring to sparkling minis to relaxed denim with a historic twist.
The reason the tuxedo and bubble skirt combination keeps coming back is simple: it breaks a lot of rules at once. It pairs the formality of eveningwear with the whimsy of a puffball hem, and the red accents give it a graphic punch that photographs well from any angle. That makes it ideal for the kind of side-by-side image that circulates online.
It also shows how a strong styling choice can outlive its moment. Two years on, fans are still calling the look perfect, and each new Zendaya appearance invites comparisons to it. That is the kind of staying power most designers and stylists dream of.
