‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Stars Zendaya and Tom Holland “Couldn’t Be Happier” as They Celebrated Their Wedding with Loved Ones

Zendaya and Tom Holland are enjoying married life, and a recent private celebration gave the couple a chance to bring their closest friends and family together.

According to PEOPLE, the Spider-Man stars held a private wedding celebration on Aug. 4 at Beaverbrook, a luxury country house hotel in Surrey, England. The couple reportedly wanted to keep the event away from the public and spend the day surrounded by people close to them.

A source told PEOPLE that Zendaya and Holland were extremely happy with how everything turned out.

“They’ve both been so busy and this was really the perfect little window for them,” the source said, explaining that the pair found time between their busy work schedules to celebrate.

Privacy was also a major reason for keeping the event small and away from the spotlight. “Keeping everything private was incredibly important to them. They’re very protective of their personal lives and really wanted to enjoy this without any outside attention,” the source told PEOPLE.

The couple reportedly had a private wedding earlier this year, followed by the larger celebration in Surrey. The source said they were happy to have both moments.

“They’re so happy with how everything turned out. They got to have their private wedding and then this bigger celebration with everyone they love. They really couldn’t be happier,” the source said. The source also described the pair as being in a very happy place since getting married.

“It’s a really exciting time for both of them and you can really see that when you’re around them,” they added. Family members were also part of the celebration. Holland’s brothers, Sam, Harry and Paddy, reportedly attended and stayed at cottages on the Beaverbrook estate. The celebration also had a natural, relaxed feel, with the brothers wearing black tuxedos decorated with wildflowers.

The Surrey location was especially fitting for Holland, as the hotel is close to Kingston upon Thames, where the actor grew up.

Zendaya and Holland had kept their wedding plans extremely private, even as rumors about their relationship status continued to spread. Holland finally confirmed that they were married during an interview with Esquire in June.

The actor was discussing fake AI-generated images that claimed to show the couple’s wedding. Holland explained that his family and friends knew the photos were fake because “they were all there” for the real wedding.

When he was asked to share more details about the ceremony, Holland kept his answer short. “That’s all you’ll get on that,” he said.

The couple’s marriage had been the subject of months of speculation. Zendaya first sparked engagement rumors in early 2025 after appearing at the Golden Globes wearing a large diamond ring. PEOPLE later confirmed that she and Holland were engaged.

Their wedding rumors grew again in March when Zendaya appeared at the Oscars wearing what looked like a wedding band. She continued wearing the ring during public appearances.

Just two days after the Surrey celebration, Holland was also spotted wearing his wedding ring in public for the first time since confirming the marriage.

For two stars who have always kept their relationship mostly private, their latest celebration seems to have followed the same approach: a special day shared with the people who matter most to them.
