‘Stranger Things’ Stars Return Together for Co-star’s Beautiful Wedding
Maya Hawke surprised fans and friends alike with a magical Valentine’s Day wedding in New York City. The 27-year-old actress married musician Christian Lee Hutson on February 14 at St. George’s Episcopal Church in Manhattan, turning a chilly winter day into a celebration filled with love and laughter.
The ceremony brought together the cast of Stranger Things for a joyful reunion, just weeks after the show ended its decade-long run on Netflix. Joe Keery, Natalia Dyer, Sadie Sink, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Charlie Heaton were all spotted arriving in the city to celebrate with Hawke and Hutson. Fans who have followed the actors for years got a rare glimpse of the friends coming together in real life.
Hawke’s parents, Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, were present for the occasion. Ethan walked his daughter down the aisle while Uma wore a soft blue gown. The bride looked radiant in a sleeveless white dress paired with a large feathery coat to stay warm in the February weather. After the ceremony, guests moved to The Players, a historic private club in Gramercy Park, to continue the festivities into the night.

Hawke and Hutson’s relationship has been rooted in music. The couple met through their shared love for the art, with Hutson co-producing Hawke’s critically acclaimed albums, Moss and Chaos Angel. In a 2024 interview, Maya reflected on their connection, saying, “I cannot recommend dating your friends highly enough because they truly know you as a human being.”
Even though she has said goodbye to her role as Robin Buckley, Hawke remains busy professionally. She is preparing for the romantic comedy Wishful Thinking and the drama One Night Only. But her most anticipated project is The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, a prequel set during the 50th Hunger Games. Hawke will play Wiress, a brilliant and eccentric character, alongside Joseph Zada as Haymitch and Whitney Peak as Lenore Dove Baird.
Between music, films, and her new role as a wife, Maya Hawke is building a career that honors her family legacy while standing firmly on her own. Her journey beyond Hawkins may be just beginning, but it is clear that she is embracing every chapter with confidence and creativity.
