Sydney Sweeney made a big impression when she showed up at the Euphoria season 3 premiere in Los Angeles on April 7. The actress stepped onto the red carpet wearing a white dress that immediately caught everyone’s attention. The look came from an archival Pierre Cardin collection from 2007. The gown featured soft draping and a long cape that flowed behind her, giving it a bridal feel.

Her styling added to the overall look. Styled by Molly Dickson, Sweeney wore a rhinestone bow and diamond jewelry that stood out under the lights. Her hair was kept in soft waves, and her makeup had a glowing finish with light, shimmery eyeshadow. The full look felt simple but still dramatic, which is why it quickly became one of the most talked-about outfits of the night.

Some fans think the outfit might connect to what’s coming in the new season. Euphoria creator Sam Levinson has already shared that season 3 will include a five-year time jump. He also hinted that Sweeney’s character, Cassie Howard, ends up getting married to Nate Jacobs during that time. Because of that, many viewers believe the bridal-style dress could be a subtle nod to that storyline.

Sweeney has also opened up about how important this role has been for her. In a March interview, she spoke about how playing Cassie changed the way she sees herself. She said, “It’s actually powerful to be confident; our bodies are incredible.” She explained that the role helped her work through personal insecurities and become more comfortable in her own skin.

While the premiere brought excitement, there was also some news about the future of the show. During an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show on April 6, Zendaya talked about what might be next for Euphoria.

When she was asked if the show was ending, she said, “I think so,” and added that “closure is coming.” She also reflected on her time playing Rue, saying, “Euphoria, it cracked my heart open,” and explained that the role taught her a lot about empathy and understanding people.

As the show gets ready for what could be its final season, both Sweeney and Zendaya are staying busy with other projects. Sweeney is still seeing success from her thriller The Housemaid, which performed well after its release in late 2025.

She is already set to return for a sequel titled The Housemaid’s Secret, which is planned for a December 2027 release. She is also working on a remake of Barbarella, which is being directed by Edgar Wright.

Zendaya also has a packed schedule. She recently appeared in the film The Drama, which came out in March. Later this year, she will star alongside Tom Holland in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. She is also set to appear in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey and will return for Dune Part Three.

For now, the focus is on Euphoria as it returns with a new season. With big story changes and a possible ending ahead, fans are paying close attention. Sweeney’s appearance at the premiere was just the start of what looks like a major moment for the series.
