Sydney Sweeney Seduces the Lens in a Flirty Pink Muslin Dress While Shooting For Kérastase
Sydney Sweeney is proving she can balance Hollywood projects and high-fashion work at the same time. The 28-year-old actress was recently spotted in Portugal while filming a new campaign for haircare brand Kérastase. Onlookers captured her holding a large bottle of the brand’s hair oil, perched on her head and even leaning in to kiss it.
For the shoot, Sweeney wore a soft pink muslin dress by Polish designer Magda Butrym, priced at £1,920. The color and style made her stand out against the historic backdrop of the Palácio Nacional de Queluz, often called the “Portuguese Versailles,” near Lisbon.
At the same time, she is filming a new adaptation of Edith Wharton’s 1913 novel The Custom of the Country. Sweeney plays a young woman from the Midwest who moves to New York in search of wealth and status. The film also stars Leo Woodall, Dominic West, Rose Leslie, Matthew Goode, and Hugh Dancy. Director Josie Rourke described Sweeney as “luminous” and said, “As I was writing this adaptation, Sydney Sweeney lived in my head as this iconic character – it’s as if Wharton sat down a century ago and wrote the role for her.”
Sweeney’s film career has been thriving. She recently appeared in The Housemaid, which earned nearly £300 million worldwide. She also starred in Anyone But You and the boxing biopic Christy.
