Sydney Sweeney is once again getting plenty of attention online after showing off a new look from her own lingerie brand.
The actress launched her SYRN brand earlier this year and has continued to appear in its campaigns herself. In the latest promotional video, Sweeney models several pieces from the collection, including a light blue Recovery Romper and a Twist and Shout Wrap.
During the video, Sweeney talks viewers through what she is wearing before briefly revealing the pink bra underneath the outfit. The post quickly attracted attention on social media, with fans filling the comments with compliments about her appearance.
One person wrote, “God, you are absolutely magnificent,” while another called her perfect. Other comments included “I’m fainting,” “You’re beautiful,” and “The most beautiful woman in the world.” But Sweeney’s comfort with her appearance has not always been there.
The actress has spoken openly about feeling insecure about her body when she was younger. In particular, she has discussed how uncomfortable she felt as her breasts developed at an early age and said she once considered having breast reduction surgery.
“I grew up with big boobs. By sixth grade, I was already wearing a 32DD and I never felt confident. I didn’t feel good about anything and I just wanted to hide,” Sweeney previously said.
Her attitude changed as she became older and gained more confidence. She has credited her role as Cassie in Euphoria with helping her look at her body differently.
“It was through Cassie that I realized confidence is actually powerful; our bodies are incredible. We should embrace our curves and feel great in our own skin,” she said.
Her latest campaign is also part of a larger business plan. Sweeney is not simply appearing in advertisements for another company. She is building a brand of her own and has made herself one of its main public faces.
According to an unnamed source cited by Heatworld, Sweeney understands that her appearance attracts attention and sees that attention as useful for her career and business ventures. The source claimed that she does not intend to apologize for embracing her femininity or showing off her figure.
“Sydney doesn’t think she should apologize for embracing her femininity,” the source said.
The same source described Sweeney as someone who is focused on both acting and business, arguing that people have underestimated her by seeing her mainly as a pretty face.
“People have written her off as just another pretty face, but she’s very smart; she’s playing this game to win,” the source claimed.
The source also suggested that Sweeney sees her appearance as something she can use while building her career, comparing her approach with stars such as Jennifer Lopez, Elle Macpherson, Kim Kardashian and Halle Berry.
