Sydney Sweeney is making headlines again with her new lingerie brand, Syrn. The Euphoria star recently shared a playful social media ad that has fans talking. The clip takes place in a convenience store and shows Sweeney in a Valentine’s Day-inspired outfit.
She starts off wearing a red crop top that says Marry Me Fly Free and then removes it to reveal a white bra from her collection. The bra has thick straps and a unique twist in the center. She also steps out of red running shorts to show white boxer shorts, wearing a gold necklace that spells her nickname, SYD.
The post was a countdown for Syrn’s Playful collection, which will launch on February 17, according to the actress. Syrn has been doing well since its launch last month. The first line, Seductress, sold out within hours. Part of the brand’s success comes from creative marketing, including a stunt where lingerie was placed on the Hollywood Sign.
Sweeney has said she wants the brand to be inclusive, offering pieces in 44 different sizes so that many body types are represented. She explained her approach, saying Syrn is about confidence without pressure, feeling sexy, powerful, soft, playful, or all of the above, depending on the day.
Sweeney is the founder and creative lead of the brand and has said she wouldn’t produce anything she wouldn’t personally wear. The collection is divided into four categories: Comfy, Playful, Romantic, and Seductive. Most items cost less than $100 to make them more accessible. Legal filings also suggest Sweeney may expand Syrn into beauty, with trademarks submitted for skincare and cosmetics.
Alongside her fashion work, Sweeney is busy with acting projects. She is set to star in the psychological thriller The Housemaid, which will release later this year, and has been filming the third season of Euphoria. Her production company is also working on a remake of Barbarella and a biopic about boxer Christy Martin.
In her personal life, Sweeney has been in the news after splitting from long-term partner Jonathan Davino. Reports have also connected her to music executive Scooter Braun, though she has kept details about her dating life private. Through her work in fashion and acting, Sweeney continues to build a brand and career that reflect her bold and playful personality.
