Ali G (Franchise)

Ali G is a fictional character created and performed by Sacha Baron Cohen, known for his fake street-smart personality and interviews with unsuspecting guests who do not realize they are part of a comedy setup. The character first appeared on Channel 4’s The 11 O’Clock Show in 1998 before becoming the star of Da Ali G Show and the movie Ali G Indahouse. Although Cohen announced Ali G’s retirement in 2007, the character later returned for appearances including Ali G Rezurection in 2014.
