Assassin’s Creed (Franchise)

‘Assassin’s Creed’ is Ubisoft’s long-running video game franchise, built around a secret war between two shadowy factions, one that wants to control humanity’s future and another that fights to preserve free will, with stories that span a wide range of historical eras. It was adapted into a 2016 film, and Netflix and Ubisoft announced a deal in October 2020 for a live-action series, an animated series and an anime. The live-action series, created by Roberto Patino and David Wiener and set in Ancient Rome, is nearing completion, and the franchise will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2027.
