Ballard (TV series)

Ballard is an American police procedural series created by Michael Alaimo and Kendall Sherwood, based on the Renée Ballard novels by Michael Connelly and serving as a spinoff of Bosch and Bosch: Legacy. The series premiered on Amazon Prime Video on July 9, 2025, starring Maggie Q as LAPD Detective Renée Ballard, and was renewed for a second season in October 2025. The show follows Ballard as she leads an underfunded cold case unit in Los Angeles, solving old murders while uncovering corruption and hidden secrets within the police department.
