Blood Sacrifice (TV Series)

‘Blood Sacrifice’ is a five-episode Swedish crime thriller from “Lupin” creator George Kay, directed by Kristoffer Nyholm, following detective Thomas Berg (Jakob Oftebro) as he investigates a killer targeting police officers during Stockholm’s endless summer daylight. The case forces Thomas to reluctantly team up with his estranged, disgraced ex-cop father, Alfred (Peter Andersson), turning the investigation into as much a story about their fractured relationship as it is a hunt for the killer. Since its August 20 release, the series has climbed to the No. 1 spot on Netflix worldwide, dethroning ‘Outer Banks’ and earning largely positive reviews for its atmospheric take on Nordic noir.
