Dancing with the Stars (TV series)

Dancing with the Stars is an American dance competition show that first premiered on ABC on June 1, 2005. It is based on the British series *Strictly Come Dancing* and pairs celebrities with professional dancers who compete in ballroom and Latin dance routines. Each week, couples are scored by judges and voted on by the audience, with the lowest-ranked pair eliminated until a winner is crowned. The series has continued through multiple seasons, including a move to Disney+ in 2022 and a return to ABC while also streaming on Disney+.
