Helldivers (Franchise)

*Helldivers* is a 2015 top-down shooter developed by Arrowhead Game Studios and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. The game follows an elite military group called the Helldivers, who fight to spread “managed democracy” and protect humanity in a sci-fi war setting.

It launched on PlayStation platforms and later on PC in 2015, marking Sony’s return to PC publishing after many years. The game was well received by critics and sold over 4 million copies by May 2024. A sequel, *Helldivers 2*, was released in February 2024.
