Liminal (TV Series)

‘Liminal’ is an Apple Original Films sci-fi action-thriller directed by Louis Leterrier, based on the graphic novel ‘Telepaths’ by J. Michael Straczynski, Steve Epting and Brian Reber. The story follows a world where a tenth of the population suddenly gains telepathic powers after a global electromagnetic disturbance, focusing on newly telepathic Boston police officers who become targets of a faction led by a wrongfully convicted prisoner. The film stars Vanessa Kirby, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Tom Pelphrey, Franka Potente, Tracy Letts, Paul Sparks and Ava Threat, with filming having wrapped after shooting in New York City and Morocco, and a release expected sometime in 2027.
