Rocky (Franchise)

The Rocky franchise is a sports drama series created by Sylvester Stallone, starting with the 1976 film about boxer Rocky Balboa from Philadelphia. It grew into a long-running saga with sequels through 2006, many of which Stallone wrote or directed, and it became a major cultural landmark in film history.

The story later continued with the Creed series, which focuses on Adonis Creed, the son of Apollo Creed, and follows his rise in boxing with Rocky as his mentor in the early films. These movies were directed by Ryan Coogler, Steven Caple Jr., and Michael B. Jordan.

The franchise has earned major awards, including Best Picture for the original Rocky, and has produced iconic music and quotes that remain widely recognized in pop culture. Today, the Rocky and Creed universe continues to expand with new spin-offs and future projects in development.
