Supernatural is an American TV series created by Eric Kripke that premiered in 2005 on The WB and later moved to The CW. It stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles as brothers Sam and Dean Winchester, who travel across America hunting demons, ghosts, and other supernatural creatures.
Originally planned for five seasons, the show continued under multiple showrunners and eventually became the longest-running American live-action fantasy series. It ended in 2020 after 15 seasons and 327 episodes, following a long run of expanding mythology and fan-favorite monster-of-the-week storytelling.
