The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (Franchise)

‘The Legend of Sleepy Hollow’ is an 1820 short story by American author Washington Irving, first published in his collection ‘The Sketch Book of Geoffrey Crayon, Gent.’ Written while Irving was living in England, the story became one of the earliest and most enduring works of American fiction alongside ‘Rip Van Winkle.’ It has remained popular for over two centuries and has been adapted into multiple screen versions, including Disney’s 1949 animated adaptation.
