The Nightingale (Film)

“The Nightingale” is a World War II drama based on Kristin Hannah’s bestselling novel, starring real-life sisters Dakota Fanning and Elle Fanning as Vianne and Isabelle, two sisters who embark on separate, dangerous paths for survival, love, and freedom in German-occupied France. Directed by Michael Morris, the film marks the first time the Fanning sisters have acted opposite each other on screen, and it also stars Mark Rylance, Shira Haas, and Edmund Donovan. The Nightingale is set for theatrical release on March 19, 2027.
