Tires (TV Series)

“Tires” is a Netflix workplace comedy created by comedian Shane Gillis, Steve Gerben, and John McKeever, following Will (Gerben), the nervous and unqualified heir to his father’s auto repair chain, as he tries to keep the Valley Forge Automotive Center afloat despite constant chaos from his slacker cousin Shane (Gillis) and their oddball coworkers Cal, Kilah, and Dave. The show started small, with Gillis self-financing a scrappy six-episode first season in 2024 before Netflix picked it up, and it has since grown into a full ensemble comedy often compared to a cruder, blue-collar version of “The Office.” Season 2 brought in Thomas Haden Church as Shane’s estranged, wealthy father Phil, whose arrival reshaped the shop’s dynamic and helped drive the show’s growing popularity heading into its already-renewed Season 3.
