‘Weapons’ is a 2025 supernatural mystery horror film written and directed by Zach Cregger, following the mysterious disappearance of seventeen children from the same classroom on the same night. After a competitive bidding war, New Line Cinema produced the film, which was shot in Atlanta in 2024 and released by Warner Bros. Pictures on August 8, 2025. The movie became a major success, earning $270 million worldwide and receiving praise for Amy Madigan’s performance, with a prequel titled ‘Gladys’ scheduled for release in 2028.
