The Flash is a superhero show that first premiered on the CW TV network in 2014 as a spin-off of another superhero show of that era, Arrow. The show follows the story of Barry Allen, a forensic scientist who gains superhuman speed and abilities after being struck by lightning. Now, with superhuman powers, Barry dedicates himself as the protector of Central City and, more importantly, the Multiverse.
The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/Flash, with Candice Patton portraying Iris West. The West-Allen family now needs to juggle their family with the new dangers threatening the betterment of the Universe. Of course, Team Flash includes Cecile, Allegra, Chester, and Khione, and their support will be instrumental in defense of the Earth-Prime.

The Flash Season 9, Episode 9 preview
Season nine of The Flash is about the farewell of the longest-standing Arrowverse superhero. Throughout the season, we saw a lot of callbacks to previous seasons and various Arrowverse characters, and we even saw a few guest stars, like Nia Nal and Ryan Wilder, in previous episodes.
Barry and Iris found out they are expecting a baby, specifically, their daughter Nora; they met earlier during multiple crises in the timeline. Since then, they have tried to get used to being parents and sacrificing their lifestyle. Team Flash looks to find its own “footing” in the Central City and as a member of the superhero group.
After the Red Death threat has passed, Team Flash dealt with more foes; however, Episode nine seems like the team will be truly tested. In the next episode, we expect to see the old foe of Flash, Bloodwork, who will attack Team Flash, specifically Wally West, which will lead to possible dangers to the Multiverse, and the appearance of Arrow himself, Oliver Queen.
We know that Oliver Queen sacrificed himself during the Anti-Monitor Crisis, restoring Earth-Prime and saving millions of people, but Barry will find a way to reach out to his old friend. Arrow’s death was never clear cut, so it seems like Oliver is “stuck” in a different reality, or some Purgatory.
Iris will be in danger because of her pregnancy, and besides Kid Flash, Allegra will also be under the influence of Bloodwork and his powers. We’re unsure what will happen to Khione and if she uses her powers, but I fully expect that to happen since the season builds. Nevertheless, Barry’s birthday will turn worse, but with the appearance of John Diggle, the deceased Oliver Queen, and evil Kid Flash, we expect an epic battle that will decide the faith of the whole Multiverse.
