‘The Way Home’ Stars Say Emotional Goodbye as Beloved Hallmark Series Ends After 4 Seasons
Sadie Laflamme-Snow and the cast of The Way Home are saying goodbye to the series in emotional fashion, with several stars sharing heartfelt messages before the final episode aired.
Laflamme-Snow, who plays Alice Landry, shared one of the most emotional farewell posts on Instagram. The actress posted a video from the Landry farm set, showing the familiar location where many important moments from the series were filmed. In the clip, she appeared emotional as she waved goodbye while Landslide played in the background.
The actress added a simple message over the video that read, “final episode of The Way Home tonight. Thank you for growing up with me & Alice <3.” Her post quickly touched fans, many of whom admitted they were not ready to say goodbye to the Hallmark series.
While Laflamme-Snow kept her caption short, the meaning behind the post was clear. After spending years bringing Alice’s journey to life, the actress thanked viewers who followed along with her character’s emotional story. Fans responded by sharing their sadness over the ending, while some viewers continued efforts to keep the show alive through a petition asking for its return.
Another emotional goodbye came from Jordan Doww, who played the younger version of Colton Landry. The actor shared a special video alongside Julia Tomasone, who portrayed young Del, filmed at the Landry family farm.
The clip showed the two characters walking toward the house after someone asked where they were going. Tomasone’s character answered, “Home. I am going home.” The moment quickly became a meaningful farewell for fans who followed the complicated love story between Colton and Del.
Doww also shared his feelings about the series ending in an Instagram caption. “Colton & Delly forever 🥹❤️ As we approach the series finale tonight, I just wanted to acknowledge what a ride it has been bringing young colton & delly’s love story to life. We love you guys more than you will ever know. A Landry never gives up hope 🫶🏼,” he wrote.
His message received an emotional response from cast members, including Kelsey Falconer, who admitted she was already tearing up. “Ok so the tears are starting this early today, cool cool cool 🥺,” Falconer wrote in the comments.
The cast also came together to watch the final episode. Bianca Melchior, who played young Fern, shared a video featuring several of the show’s younger stars, including Laflamme-Snow, Falconer, and Devin Cecchetto.
