‘The White Lotus’ Season 4 Adds ‘Iron Man’ Star to Cast in Major Expansion
The White Lotus Season 4 is still filming, and the cast keeps growing right up to the finish line. According to HBO, new actors have now joined the show as production continues in France, adding more big names to an already packed lineup.
The latest additions include Ben Kingsley, Max Minghella, and Pekka Strang. All three will appear in recurring roles. HBO has not shared any details about their characters, and like most casting choices in the series, everything is being kept secret for now.
The information comes directly from HBO, which confirmed that the trio completes the ensemble cast for the season. Filming is currently happening in France, with locations including Cannes, Saint-Tropez, and Paris. This season is set around the Cannes Film Festival, which is also happening in real life at the same time.
Season 4 is doing something new for the show by using two major luxury hotel locations at once. The production is filming at the Airelles Château de la Messardière in Saint-Tropez and the Hotel Martinez on the Cannes Croisette. This is the first time the series has used two White Lotus hotel settings in one season.
The cast this season is very large. It includes actors such as Vincent Cassel, Steve Coogan, and Laura Dern, along with many others. Laura Dern joined the show after Helena Bonham Carter left the project.
Other returning and new names include Caleb Jonte Edwards, Dylan Ennis, Corentin Fila, Ari Graynor, Marissa Long, Alexander Ludwig, Chris Messina, AJ Michalka, Kumail Nanjiani, Nadia Tereszkiewicz, Chloe Bennet, Sandra Bernhard, Heather Graham, Max Greenfield, Frida Gustavsson, Charlie Hall, Jarrad Paul, Rosie Perez, Ben Schnetzer, and Laura Smet. It is one of the biggest ensembles the series has assembled so far.
Each season of The White Lotus follows a new group of wealthy guests staying at a luxury resort, where personal drama and tension slowly build into darker events. The show is known for mixing social satire with mystery, and each new location changes the tone and story.
Ben Kingsley’s recent work includes the Marvel series Wonder Man, while Max Minghella recently appeared in Industry and is also involved in the upcoming film Clayface. Pekka Strang has worked on projects like The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die and Finnish productions such as Mister8.
At this point, HBO has not revealed character details or storylines for Season 4. With filming still ongoing in France, more casting and plot updates are expected in the coming months.
