‘The White Lotus’ Season 4 Cast Takes over a Castle, New Stars Spotted at Disneyland Paris
The cast of HBO’s hit series ‘The White Lotus’ is currently spending time in France while filming the show’s highly anticipated fourth season, but they recently took a break from their luxury hotel setting and enjoyed a very different kind of vacation experience.
According to Variety, season 4 cast members Laura Dern, AJ Michalka, and Marissa Long were spotted visiting Disneyland Paris while production was underway nearby. The actors appeared to be taking some time off from filming and were seen posing for photos with a Minnie Mouse character near the park’s famous Sleeping Beauty Castle.
The group was joined by other members of the production team, creating a fun break from the intense schedule of shooting a major television series. Minnie Mouse was dressed in a special outfit featuring a salmon-colored dress, a Breton-style striped design, and an Eiffel Tower-inspired accessory, adding to the Paris theme of the visit.
The fourth season of ‘The White Lotus’ is currently being filmed across France, with production taking place in locations throughout Paris and the French Riviera. Variety reported that the cast has been filming interiors at the famous Hôtel Lutetia in Paris, as well as scenes at the Bry-sur-Marne studios outside the city.
The production has also been making use of some of France’s most recognizable locations. The upcoming season will include filming at the Hôtel Martinez in Cannes, the Château de la Messardière in Saint-Tropez, Monaco, and Nice. These locations will help create the same luxury atmosphere that has become one of the biggest parts of the show’s identity.
Season 4 will move the story to the world of French cinema, with the new episodes reportedly focusing on rival filmmaking teams competing for a major prize during the Cannes Film Festival. Variety previously reported that the fictional White Lotus resort will be connected to the Cannes setting, with the Hôtel Martinez representing the White Lotus Cannes location and Château de la Messardière becoming the White Lotus du Cap.
Laura Dern joined the cast after replacing Helena Bonham Carter early in production. According to reports, Dern is rumored to be playing a former star trying to rebuild her career. She has also been spotted around France during filming, including appearances at Roland-Garros, the French Open tennis tournament.
The new season has already attracted a major lineup of actors. Alongside Dern, the cast includes AJ Michalka, Marissa Long, Ben Kingsley, Max Greenfield, and Vincent Cassel. However, Kingsley, Greenfield, and Cassel were not seen during the Disneyland Paris outing.
While Disneyland Paris will most likely not appear in the actual series, the visit gave the cast a chance to experience another famous luxury destination while working on a show built around expensive vacations and high-end resorts.
‘The White Lotus’ has become known for combining beautiful locations with dark comedy, mystery, and drama. After successful seasons set in Hawaii, Italy, and Thailand, the move to France promises another visually stunning setting filled with wealthy guests, complicated relationships, and the secrets that usually follow them.
HBO has not yet announced an official release date for season 4, but filming is expected to continue through the year as the cast finishes production across France.
