Laura Dern has been spotted filming on location at Cannes alongside Chris Messina, Marissa Long, and Charlie Hall. Dern was previously announced as the replacement for Helena Bonham Carter, who exited the project early in production. In the scenes filmed on May 26, the group appeared dressed in formal outfits, walking the steps of the festival venue as if attending a major premiere. Based on the setup, Dern seems to be playing a public figure attending the festival with her on-screen family.

The Cannes setting gives the show a fresh backdrop compared to earlier seasons, which took place in luxury resorts. This time, the focus appears to shift toward celebrity culture and the pressure that comes with public attention.
