Timothée Chalamet Reveals His Favorite Movies of All Time
Timothée Chalamet has shared some of his favorite films in a recent interview, revealing both his all-time pick and his current obsession.
The “Dune” star told Believe that Awards that while Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight” will always hold a special place for him, he has recently developed a strong appreciation for Michael Mann’s 1995 crime thriller, “Heat.”
“I always say The Dark Knight. That’s always going to be my favorite. But my favorite of the year has been Heat. I saw Heat late and Heat is a classic. Heat with Pacino and De Niro,” Chalamet said.
Interestingly, “Heat” was a major inspiration for Nolan when he directed “The Dark Knight” in 2008, creating a unique connection between Chalamet’s two favorite films.
Chalamet also opened up about his work during a segment on Anthony Edwards’ YouTube show, the “Believe That Awards.” Edwards, a Minnesota Timberwolves player, created the awards to celebrate notable personalities and named Chalamet the first “White Boy of the Year.”
The actor laughed throughout the playful presentation, which also included a humorous shoutout to Liam Neeson.
Looking ahead, Chalamet highlighted his upcoming movie “Marty Supreme” as a project he’s especially proud of. “Maybe the project I’m most proud of… the best thing I’ve been in,” he told People, showing excitement for his next role.
Chalamet’s choices reflect his deep appreciation for films that have shaped modern cinema and his own acting journey. It’s clear he draws inspiration from both classics and contemporary hits, blending them into his evolving career.
