Timothée Chalamet Turns Actor Awards 2026 Into a Family Affair With Mom Nicole
Timothée Chalamet turned the 32nd Annual Actor Awards into a sweet family moment on Sunday, March 1. Instead of attending with his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, the 30-year-old actor brought his mother, Nicole Flender, as his guest for the night.
The pair made a striking contrast on the red carpet. Chalamet wore a sleek off-white Prada blazer and shirt with black trousers, while his mother lit up the room in a bright pink gown. They shared several tender moments for the cameras, including a cute gesture where Chalamet handed Flender a single rose.
Flender has been a supportive presence throughout Chalamet’s awards season. She was at the December New York premiere of his film Marty Supreme, where she followed an all-orange dress code alongside Chalamet and Jenner.

At the Actor Awards, Chalamet was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role, and the film was also up for Best Ensemble. This year’s ceremony introduced a dress code in partnership with ELLE magazine.
The theme, “Reimagining Hollywood Glamour from the ’20s and ’30s,” encouraged stars to draw inspiration from the elegance of old Hollywood. Chalamet’s minimalist off-white look gave a modern twist to the classic studio-era suit and stood out among the black tuxedos.
While Jenner skipped the red carpet this time, she has been by Chalamet’s side throughout the season. The couple coordinated matching black outfits at the BAFTA Awards in London on February 22.
Earlier, at the Golden Globes, Chalamet acknowledged his support system in his acceptance speech. “For my parents, for my partner, I love you. Thank you so much,” he told the audience. Chalamet has plenty to be grateful for this year.
Marty Supreme, the A24 sports drama where he plays ping-pong legend Marty Mauser, has been a major hit. The film, directed by Josh Safdie, follows a young athlete’s rise in 1950s New York and features a standout supporting cast including Gwyneth Paltrow, Tyler, the Creator, and Fran Drescher.
Looking ahead, Chalamet’s schedule is packed. He is finishing post-production on Dune: Part Three, set to release on December 18. The final film in Denis Villeneuve’s trilogy adapts Dune Messiah and follows Paul Atreides as he faces the consequences of his rise to power, with Zendaya and Florence Pugh reprising their roles.
He is also preparing for the James Mangold thriller High Side, in which he plays a former MotoGP racer caught up in a dangerous robbery. The role reportedly required him to train intensively on motorcycles in late 2025.
From his family moments on the red carpet to his intense upcoming roles, Chalamet continues to balance a busy career with meaningful personal connections, showing fans that his success doesn’t stop him from cherishing the people closest to him.
