Tom Hiddleston Will Ask the Russos to Not Kill Loki Again in Upcoming ‘Avengers’ Projects

Loki is one of the MCU’s most intriguing characters, which makes sense, seeing how he is now one of Marvel’s most intriguing characters in general. Played by Tom Hiddleston, Loki has left a significant mark on the MCU, especially in recent years.

The Loki solo series was a success, despite a more lukewarm reception of the second season when compared to the first, and Loki has cemented himself as one of the most important MCU characters at this point.

In light of that, he is expected to appear later, and in a recent interview, Tom Hiddleston revealed what he is going to ask the Russo Brothers not to do in the upcoming Avengers movies.

Before we continue, take a look at the whole interview, in which Hiddlestone talked about his return (we’ve marked the section for you):

As always, we motivate you to watch the whole video, and this one is especially interesting as Hiddleston talks about other upcoming projects, as well as some funny details from his private life. But let us get back to the point.

Hiddleston said that it was a relief that he could now finally say that he was in a Marvel movie, considering that he generally had to keep quiet about that; this time, Marvel confirmed his return in Doomsday during the major cast reveal recently. But he said that he found out only later, after Season 2 of Loki.

He was asked to reveal something about Loki’s story in Doomsday, and while he couldn’t reveal much, he confirmed he knew some details and that he was happy with the things he knew, which is a good sign.

Finally, after Josh told him to avoid Loki’s death this time – because we cannot take another Loki death – Hiddleston told him that he would pass the message on to the Russo Brothers, so Doomsday might actually show us a Loki story where the trickster doesn’t die.
