Uma Thurman’s Daughter and Husband Make Stylish Debut Together Post-Wedding
Maya Hawke and Christian Lee Hutson made their debut as a married couple at the Tibet House U.S. Benefit Concert in New York City on March 3. The couple tied the knot just weeks earlier on Valentine’s Day, and this event marked a rare moment for fans to see them together in public.
The evening was more than just a red carpet moment. Hawke and Hutson took to the stage for a performance and later shared a quiet moment on a backstage couch. For the event, Hutson, 35, wore an all-black outfit while Hawke, 27, chose a vibrant maroon jacket.
According to sources, the couple has kept most of their romance private since dating rumors began in 2023. Before their romantic relationship began, the two were close friends and creative collaborators for several years.
Their friendship laid the foundation for their engagement, which Hutson confirmed during a 2025 radio interview when he referred to Hawke as his fiancée. Their February wedding at St. George’s Episcopal Church in Manhattan was a family-centered celebration.
Hawke’s parents, Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, were in attendance. Thurman, 55, even wore a light blue floral dress as her daughter’s “something blue.” Hawke wore a stunning boatneck gown with a voluminous tulle skirt and later added a winter coat for the reception.

The ceremony also reunited the Stranger Things cast. Finn Wolfhard, Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, and Gaten Matarazzo were all present to celebrate their longtime co-star. Hawke has spoken about the benefits of falling in love with a friend, telling the Zach Sang Show that a friend-turned-partner understands you as a real person rather than a projection.
Professionally, Hawke is riding a wave of momentum. Following the conclusion of the final season of Stranger Things on New Year’s Eve 2025, she is already preparing for her next big project, the surrealist romantic comedy Wishful Thinking, which premieres at the SXSW Film & TV Festival on March 12.
Hawke is also focusing on her music career. Her fourth studio album, Maitreya Corso, is set for release this year, and she will embark on an international tour called “An Evening With Maya Hawke.” Many of the tracks were developed in collaboration with Hutson, highlighting their creative partnership.
Additionally, Hawke has several projects in post-production, including the historical drama One Night Only and The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, where she plays a younger version of Wiress.
