Upcoming ‘The Mummy’ Film Adds Veronica Falcón, May Calamawy & May Elghety to Cast

The upcoming Mummy film from Blumhouse, Atomic Monster, and New Line Cinema has added three talented actresses to its cast: Veronica Falcón, May Calamawy, and May Elghety. They join previously announced cast members Jack Reynor and Laia Costa. The movie is currently being filmed in Ireland and Spain.
Plot details are being kept secret, but it is known to be a new take on the Mummy story, with a tomb likely involved. The film is produced by James Wan’s Atomic Monster and Jason Blum’s Blumhouse, with John Croinin producing under his Doppelgängers banner.
Veronica Falcón, known for her roles in Imaginary and The Forever Purge, has also appeared in Jungle Cruise with Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson. She is recognized for her TV roles in Queen of the South, Ozark, and Perry Mason.
May Calamawy gained fame as Scarlet Scarab in Marvel’s Moon Knight and also stars in Hulu’s Ramy. She is set to appear in the upcoming film The Actor with Andre Holland and Gemma Chan.
May Elghety is an established Egyptian actress, known for TV series like Grand Hotel and Tayee, and films such as Clash, which competed at Cannes. She has also worked on international projects like Kizazi Moto and has an upcoming role in Due Dating.
Fans can expect a thrilling new take on the Mummy saga, with a diverse and talented cast bringing the story to life.
