‘Verity’ Trailer Reveals Chilling Mystery With Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson
Amazon MGM Studios has shared the first teaser for its upcoming film “Verity,” based on the bestselling novel by Colleen Hoover. The update comes from the studio’s latest announcement and coverage around the teaser release.
The movie centers on Lowen Ashleigh, played by Dakota Johnson. She is a writer who is not doing well in her career. Her life changes when she is asked to finish a popular book series written by Verity Crawford, played by Anne Hathaway, after Verity is no longer able to continue.
Lowen moves into the Crawford home to work on the project. There, she meets Verity’s husband Jeremy, played by Josh Hartnett. As she spends more time in the house, things begin to feel off.
