The trailer for Vought Rising was shown during the finale premiere of The Boys. The preview gave fans an early look at the upcoming prequel series set in the same universe.

The series is created by Eric Kripke for Amazon Prime Video and is planned as the fourth show in The Boys franchise. It is expected to release in 2027 and focuses on the early history of Vought, along with the rise of early Supes like Soldier Boy and Stormfront.

The trailer itself centered heavily on Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy. In one of the key moments shown, Soldier Boy says, “If you’re working on something, maybe I can help. I want to fight for the flag. I want to be a hero.” This line sets the tone for his early ambition before he becomes the darker version seen later in the franchise.

The preview also included violent scenes. There were flashes of blood and what looked like early testing connected to Compound V. These moments suggest the show will explore the more brutal and experimental side of Vought’s early operations.

Another important moment in the teaser was the final scene. It showed a conversation between Soldier Boy and Stormfront, played again by Aya Cash. The scene hints at a deeper connection between the two characters long before the events of The Boys.

The series is set in the 1950s and follows a murder mystery connected to the origins of Vought. It also explores how early Supes were shaped by military systems before becoming public heroes tied to media and politics.

The cast includes returning actors like Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash, along with new names such as Elizabeth Posey and Will Hochman. Other cast members are also part of the expanding ensemble, all tied to different early Supe characters and Vought operations.

The production team behind the series includes multiple executive producers, with Paul Grellong serving as showrunner. According to earlier studio announcements, the show is designed to run for multiple seasons, and early development plans for future stories have already been discussed by the creators.

Filming for the series started in 2025 and wrapped in 2026, based on production reports shared during development coverage. Costume design for the Supes takes inspiration from military-style uniforms, reflecting the early branding of Vought as a patriotic organization.

As of now, Vought Rising remains in post-production, with a planned release on Prime Video in 2027, continuing the expansion of The Boys universe.
