Watch the First Trailer for ‘72 Hours’ With Kevin Hart, Marcello Hernández, Mason Gooding and Ben Marshall
The first trailer has been revealed for 72 HOURS, an upcoming comedy film directed by Tim Story. The movie brings together a large ensemble cast led by Kevin Hart, alongside Marcello Hernández, Mason Gooding, and several other well-known names from comedy and film.
According to Netflix, the film is set to be released on July 24, and will stream exclusively on Netflix.
The story follows a 40-year-old man who accidentally gets added to a group chat and ends up joining a bachelor party weekend with complete strangers. What starts as a simple mistake quickly turns into a chaotic trip filled with unexpected situations.
The cast also includes Teyana Taylor, Michael Mando, Zach Cherry, Ben Marshall, Kam Patterson, and Mike Epps, each playing part of the wild weekend group.
The film is produced by Sony Pictures and is part of Netflix’s first-look deal with Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat Productions, along with Davis Entertainment, Counterbalance Entertainment, and Will Packer Productions. The script comes from Matt Mider, Kevin Burrows, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg, with Hurwitz and Schlossberg also contributing early drafts.
Filming for 72 HOURS began in June 2025 in New Jersey, with Larry Blanford handling cinematography. The music is being composed by Christopher Lennertz, who has worked with Tim Story on several previous projects.
With the first trailer now out, the film is shaping up as a fast-paced comedy built around a simple mistake that turns into a wild weekend adventure.
