Keith Urban is once again at the center of romance rumors, this time involving rising country singer Karley Scott Collins. Just weeks after finalizing his divorce from Nicole Kidman in January, the 58-year-old country star has been linked to the 26-year-old musician, sparking a flurry of speculation online.

The rumors began after Urban and Collins spent time together on tour, leading fans to wonder if there’s more than a professional connection. But Karley quickly addressed the gossip herself.

On her Instagram Stories, she shared a screenshot of a headline claiming Urban had moved in with her and wrote that the story was “absolutely RIDICULOUS and untrue.” She added that their relationship is purely professional and that Urban has been more of a mentor to her than anything else.

Karley grew up in Lake City, Florida, with her parents, Nena and Scott Collins. She started out as an actress, landing roles in projects like The Class, The Hottie and the Nottie, and Once Upon a Time.

She has said she only picked up the guitar at age nine because she needed it for an acting audition—but that small requirement turned into a lifelong passion. “Once I learned my first few chords, everything kind of clicked,” she told fans in a previous interview. By the time she finished high school, music had completely taken over her life.

Her career started gaining traction in 2019 when a music publisher overheard her singing and offered her a deal. Karley has since become an advocate for women in country music, saying she is proud to be part of a generation of female artists making big strides.

She signed with Sony Music Nashville and released her debut album, Flight Risk, in late 2025, which helped solidify her place in the genre. Keith Urban, meanwhile, is keeping busy with his international tour schedule.

He’s set to headline the C2C: Country to Country festival in the UK this March, performing in London, Glasgow, and Belfast. He’s also promoting his 12th studio album, HIGH, which features the single Messed Up as Me—a track many fans have scrutinized for hints about his divorce.

Karley is also preparing for a big year. She was recently announced as a special guest on Luke Bryan’s Word On The Street tour, kicking off this May, and she’s booking headlining shows and festival appearances of her own. While the rumors continue, both artists seem focused on music rather than the tabloid speculation.

Fans have noted their musical collaboration, including the track Write One, and the two clearly share mutual respect. Still, Karley’s statement makes it clear that the romantic angle is nothing more than a fan-driven story.
