Wolverine Is Getting a New $245 1/6 Scale Figure Inspired by ‘X-Men ’97’ Season 1 Finale

Mondo has added a new figure to its X-Men ‘97 1/6 scale line. It’s Wolverine, inspired by the Season 1 finale “Tolerance Is Extinction.” This Classic Variant is limited to 1,000 pieces and stands 10.5 inches tall. Made from PVC and ABS, it weighs 4 pounds. The figure comes with plenty of extras, like swappable portraits, hands, and claws.
The product includes a Wolverine figure with five head options: Growling Masked, Berserker Masked, Standard Unmasked, Angry Unmasked, and Half-Masked Berserker. It also has a bonus bare torso with a ripped shirt, two sets of hands, six detachable claws, two energy claws, an empty cowl, and a figure stand.
The team behind it includes Alex Brewer for concept design and sculpting, Mara Ancheta for painting, Dan Veesenmeyer for packaging art, Jordan Christianson for packaging design, Posable Productions for photography, and Hector Arce for art direction.
X-Men ‘97 is a revival of the classic X-Men: The Animated Series. It picks up where the original left off, following the mutant team as they face new threats. Season 1 aired in 2024, with its finale, “Tolerance Is Extinction,” split into three parts.
This Wolverine figure ties directly to that finale. It captures his iconic brown-and-tan look from the show, complete with the battle-damaged torso option.
Fans can recreate his fierce moments—minus the action, since he doesn’t wake up in Part 3. The figure is a WonderCon 2025 exclusive, with more details coming soon.
When available, figures can be picked at Mondo’s official site.
This figure looks solid for collectors, especially with all the swappable parts. The 1,000-piece limit makes it feel special, but I wish Wolverine had a bigger role in the finale to match the hype. The show itself nailed the nostalgia while pushing the story forward—Season 2 can’t come soon enough.
