Zendaya Calls Out Viral AI Wedding Photos With Tom Holland Circulating Online
Zendaya recently addressed the rumors about her secretly marrying Tom Holland while appearing on the late-night show Jimmy Kimmel Live on March 16. The actress visited the show mainly to promote her upcoming A24 film The Drama, but the conversation quickly turned to the viral speculation about her personal life.
Host Jimmy Kimmel asked Zendaya about the headlines claiming she and Holland had already tied the knot. The Emmy-winning actress responded with humor and stayed calm while talking about the rumors.
“Really? I haven’t seen any of them,” she joked, brushing off the stories while acknowledging the buzz around the topic. Part of the confusion came from AI-generated images that spread online.
The pictures showed Zendaya and Holland at what looked like a wedding ceremony, and many fans believed they were real. Zendaya explained that the images fooled a lot of people, even some close to her.
“Many people have been fooled by them,” she said during the interview. She also shared that people had congratulated her on getting married. “Babe, they’re AI. They’re not real,” she told Kimmel while explaining the situation.
The rumors got even bigger after Zendaya’s longtime stylist and image architect, Law Roach spoke about the couple during an interview at the Actor Awards. In comments reported by Access Hollywood, Roach suggested that the wedding had already happened and that the public simply did not know about it.

Zendaya’s mother, Claire Stoermer, later reacted to the claim on social media with a laughing emoji, which added another layer to the online speculation. Zendaya and Tom Holland have been the subject of engagement rumors since early 2025, but the couple has always kept their relationship private.
While fans continue to speculate about their future, Zendaya is focusing heavily on her work. The actress has several big projects coming soon. She stars with Robert Pattinson in Kristoffer Borgli’s romantic black comedy The Drama, which arrives in theaters on April 3.
The film tells the story of an engaged couple dealing with secrets just days before their wedding, a storyline that fans have found ironic given the rumors surrounding Zendaya’s real life.
Zendaya also appears in Christopher Nolan’s epic film The Odyssey, scheduled for release on July 17. Later this summer, she will reunite with Tom Holland on screen in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the fourth film in the Marvel series.
Television fans are also waiting for her return as Rue Bennett in the third and final season of Euphoria, which is expected to premiere this spring. Her collaboration with Robert Pattinson in The Drama has already drawn attention, especially after Pattinson shared that Zendaya helped him understand the film’s complicated script.
With projects from directors like Christopher Nolan and Kristoffer Borgli, along with her expected return to Arrakis in Dune Part Three, Zendaya continues to build one of the busiest and most talked-about careers in Hollywood today.
