Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet led the spotlight at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Tuesday as they promoted their upcoming film Dune: Part Three, according to event coverage from CinemaCon at Caesars Palace.

The two stars appeared together on the red carpet while promoting the next chapter in the sci-fi franchise, which is set to arrive in theaters on December 18. The film continues the story that began with Dune in 2021 and Dune: Part Two in 2024.

Zendaya, 29, arrived in a clean and structured outfit that echoed the film’s desert-inspired style. She wore a fitted nude-toned blazer with strong shoulders paired with a matching pencil skirt. The fabric had a soft faded finish that gave the look a subtle, textured feel. She completed the outfit with dark gold heels.

Her hair was pulled back tightly, keeping the focus on her face and earrings. She wore small gold jewelry and kept her makeup soft, with defined lashes, light eye shading, and a warm blush. A glossy nude lip finished the look.

Chalamet matched the muted tones of the look with tan pants and layered outerwear. He wore a black hoodie under a dark brown zip jacket, giving his outfit a relaxed but coordinated style. His look also carried soft, faded tones that tied into Zendaya’s color palette.

The actors are returning as Chani and Paul Atreides in the new film. The cast also includes Robert Pattinson, Florence Pugh, Jason Momoa, Rebecca Ferguson, and Anya Taylor-Joy.

During CinemaCon, Zendaya and Chalamet joined director Denis Villeneuve and Jason Momoa on stage. They presented early footage from the film, including the first seven minutes of the upcoming release, as part of a special panel for attendees.

Villeneuve described the final chapter of the story as more intense and emotional, saying, “It is a thriller – action-packed, more intense and definitely more emotional.” He also pointed to the central relationship in the story, adding, “But still the heartbeat of the film is that love story between Chani and Paul, [albeit] more of a broken love story.”

Zendaya spoke about her character’s evolution, explaining, “at a very different place in her life where that youthful outlook is completely gone.” Chalamet also shared insight into Paul Atreides, saying he has “become his worst vision and he’s struggling to… figure out how to protect those he loves while becoming the all-powerful dark emperor of the universe.”

The event also highlighted how long the cast and crew have been working on the franchise. Villeneuve noted the emotional end of the journey, saying, “We became like a small family. It’s like 10 years of our lives.”
