The team behind Marvel’s Wonder Man is already looking ahead to season 2, and it sounds like they know exactly what they want to keep.

During a panel hosted by The Hollywood Reporter, creator Andrew Guest confirmed that work on the new season has already started, even if it’s still early days. He made it clear that fans shouldn’t expect a big shift in tone or style moving forward.

“The people who like this show and like it because it feels different are going to be rewarded,” Guest said. He also added a warning for anyone expecting a major change: “And the people who think that this show is going to suddenly turn into something else, I’m sorry to say, it’s not.”

That means season 2 will stick closely to what made the first season stand out. The mix of character-driven storytelling, a look at the entertainment industry, and the personal journey of Simon Williams will all remain at the center.

Guest also explained that the core idea of the show isn’t going anywhere. “Simon still has super powers. It is still about this relationship, about two artists, and our industry. That is essentially what we want to maintain.”

From the way the team talks about it, season 2 won’t try to reinvent the series. Instead, it will build on what already worked and lean even more into its unique style.
