Netflix’s ‘Solo Leveling’ Live-Action Series Has Found Its Stars
Netflix’s live-action Solo Leveling is moving forward in a big way, and the cast has finally been revealed. Fans online are buzzing after learning that Byeon Woo-seok will play Sung Jinwoo and Han So-hee will take on the role of Cha Hae In.
The news first came from @PopBase on X and instantly made waves across social media.
Byeon Woo-seok as Jinwoo has been talked about since July, and the reaction has been nothing but positive. Viewers already know him from 20th Century Girl and Lovely Runner, where he showed that he can handle both emotional drama and fast-paced action.

That mix of skills is exactly what’s needed to play Jinwoo, a character who starts out as “the world’s weakest hunter” but later becomes one of the most powerful figures in the story. Woo-seok’s rise as an actor has made fans confident he’s the right choice for the role.
Directors Lee Hae-jun and Kim Byung-seo are leading the project. They’ve worked on movies like Ashfall and Castaway on the Moon, which showed they can combine emotional moments with big, cinematic action scenes. Their experience could give Solo Leveling the mix of heart and spectacle it needs.
Han So-hee joining the series as Cha Hae In was the second big reveal and fans were just as excited. She’s already well known for her work in My Name, The World of the Married, and Gyeongseong Creature.
The franchise itself is only getting bigger. Along with the live-action series, the anime continues to be a success, and a new game called Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive is coming to Steam in November 2025, with console versions arriving in 2026. The addition of two major stars like Woo-seok and So-hee just adds more excitement to an already huge franchise.
With the cast finally confirmed and production underway, fans are now waiting to see how Netflix brings Sung Jinwoo’s journey from weak hunter to unstoppable force to life on screen.
