November is stacked with first-run sci-fi at the movies and on the biggest streamers, with fresh stories alongside returning favorites wrapping up their arcs. The month opens with a new chapter in the ‘Predator’ universe and a modern spin on a classic Stephen King dystopia in theaters, plus Guillermo del Toro’s take on ‘Frankenstein’ landing at home. Netflix brings the ‘Jurassic World’ animated saga to a finale before ‘Stranger Things’ starts its last stand, while Apple TV+ debuts Vince Gilligan’s new series ‘Pluribus’ and bows the final season of ‘WondLa’. Below are the key releases, what they are about, when they arrive, and where to watch.

Dan Trachtenberg returns to the franchise with a story that follows Dek, an outcast Yautja, who teams up with an android named Thia on a hostile alien world. It opens in movie theaters on November 7 and explores how Dek faces rival hunters on the path to confronting an apex Predator. Trachtenberg has described Thia as a steady, unflappable partner whose skills complement Dek’s brutal learning curve.
