Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet Are “Still Going Strong” Despite Breakup Rumors
Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet are still very much together, despite recent rumors suggesting they had split.
Sources told People Magazine that the couple is “doing great” and “still going strong,” dismissing speculation sparked by Chalamet missing Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday celebration.
Insiders explained that the couple makes a strong effort to see each other even with their busy schedules. Kylie has visited Chalamet on set in New York and London, keeping their relationship active despite the distance.
“They’re great,” one source said, adding that the couple manages to meet every few weeks. The source also mentioned that Chalamet will take a short break from filming during the holidays, and he and Kylie already have plans to spend time together.
Another source shared that the A Complete Unknown actor “constantly talks about Kylie” while on set. “[The couple] also met up in London while he was shooting Dune,” the insider added. “They’re really in love.”
The breakup rumors started after the Daily Mail reported on November 11 that Chalamet had ended the relationship. However, sources say this is not the case. One insider revealed, “This has happened before — but she talked him into getting back together. She is crazy about him, so that could well happen again.”
While insiders confirmed the couple is still together, they admitted that Chalamet’s busy filming schedule has caused some strain. “He is filming quite a bit, and she feels that she has to chase him,” one source said. “She is putting in more work than him.”
Fans also speculated about tension between the couple after Chalamet’s Vogue interview on November 6, where he declined to discuss Kylie. “I don’t say that with any fear. I just don’t have anything to say,” he told the magazine. Sources said Kylie feels she has been putting more effort into the relationship than Chalamet. “She feels she’s chasing him while he’s focused on work,” one insider noted.
Despite any difficulties, Kylie has tried to keep a positive image on social media. “As usual, she’s trying to put a brave face on things by posting ‘happy’ social media snaps,” the source said. The couple’s last public appearance was in early October, when they attended a New York Yankees playoff game. This came shortly after Kylie supported Chalamet at the Marty Supreme premiere during the New York Film Festival.
At the premiere, Kylie was seen backstage with Chalamet and his castmates before they surprised the audience by introducing the film. Later, at the afterparty at Waverly Inn, the pair spent most of the evening together with friends, appearing affectionate and content.
