Man Who Grabbed Ariana Grande at ‘Wicked’ Premiere Now Reportedly Barred from Lady Gaga’s Mayhem Tour
The man who grabbed Ariana Grande at the Wicked: For Good premiere in Singapore is now making headlines again, this time for reportedly being blocked from attending Lady Gaga’s Mayhem Ball tour in Australia.
The information has been shared online by several Gaga fan accounts who say security teams were alerted about him.
The man, Johnson Wen, became widely known after he rushed toward Grande while she was walking the yellow carpet at Universal Studios.
Cynthia Erivo was seen stepping in to protect Grande during the incident. Wen was later arrested and admitted to a public nuisance charge. During sentencing, district judge Christopher Goh said Wen had behaved this way before and told him, “You should be mindful that there are always consequences for one’s actions. You seem to be attention-seeking, thinking only of yourself, and not the safety of others, when committing these acts.”

Wen, who posts online under the name Pyjama Man, has a history of interrupting events. He once stopped Katy Perry’s show in Sydney and also appeared on stage at The Weeknd’s concert in Melbourne.
Because of that record, some social media posts now claim he is being kept out of venues where Lady Gaga is performing. One fan account wrote that Gaga’s team had instructed security to stop Wen from entering any of the Australian shows.
A video shared by the same account appears to show a guard holding a sheet of paper with Wen’s photo on it. They also claim he was removed from Gaga’s Brisbane show after trying to disguise himself. These updates come from online fan sources and posts shared across social platforms.
Lady Gaga opened the Australian part of her tour in Melbourne with back-to-back concerts. Her next show is in Brisbane on December 9, followed by two nights in Sydney on December 12 and 13.
While Wen may not be getting into any of the venues, fans are still showing up in large numbers with signs, gifts, and Pride flags. Some of those items are being turned away at the door because of venue policies.
The strictest rules appear to be at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium, where staff say no signs, banners, gifts, stuffed toys, or flowers are allowed. These rules come after recent moments where fans have thrown items on stage, nearly hitting Gaga.
All details about Wen’s ban come from online fan accounts, social media posts, and earlier reports from Singapore’s court proceedings.
