After more than a decade on Netflix, the hit series Supernatural is about to leave the platform in the US. The show has been streaming on Netflix since 2014, with new seasons added shortly after they aired on TV. Now, that long run is coming to an end.

Supernatural aired for 15 seasons between 2005 and 2020 on The WB and later The CW. The show follows brothers Dean and Sam Winchester as they travel across the country fighting demons, ghosts, and other dark creatures. Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles starred in the series, which became one of the most popular genre shows of its time. By the end, it had reached 327 episodes.

Netflix has confirmed that all 15 seasons will be removed from its US library in December. According to Netflix’s official notice, the last day to watch the show on the platform will be December 17. The full series is set to disappear at midnight on December 18. Two other CW shows, Arrow and The 100, are also leaving at the same time.

The good news is that fans will not lose access to the show for long. Peacock has confirmed in its December schedule that Supernatural will arrive on its service on December 22, just days after it leaves Netflix.

All 15 seasons will be available, though it is not yet clear if the show will be locked behind Peacock’s paid tier or included with ads. Peacock has not shared how long it plans to keep the series.

With its move to Peacock and Prime Video, Supernatural is not disappearing, just changing homes. Fans who want to finish a rewatch on Netflix should mark their calendars, but the Winchester brothers will still be easy to find elsewhere.
